Heather, our host for the last week of 10 weeks competition has read my mind. On Monday, I just upload this photo below on my blogspot to represent my fav song.
Picture taken am Deich, Havenwelten, Bremerhaven, Germany Taken on June 25th, 2008 Canon EOS 400D - Canon Kitlens EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Focal Length 55.0mm - Manual Program - Daylight 1/400 at f/8.0 - ISO 100 - Flash off - Handheld Contrast adjustment and Labeled
I Wish You Were Here
I dig my toes into the sand The ocean looks like a thousand diamonds strewn across a blue blanket I lean against the wind, pretend that I am weightless And in this moment I am happy Happy
I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were... here
I lay my head onto the sand The sky resembles a back-lit canopy with holes punched in it I'm counting UFO's, I signal them with my lighter And in this moment I am happy Happy
I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were... here Wish you were here
The world's a rollercoaster And I am not strapped in Maybe I should hold with care But my hands are busy in the air Sayin
I wish you were here I wish you were... I wish you were here I wish you were here I wish you were... here Wish you were here
According to dictionarydotcom: Zest can be meant as a hearty enjoyment. I chosed this meaning to interpret this week theme of PPF "ZEST". Our host of the week is Cherie.
On my second visit to Paris, on the way to Eiffel Tower. I saw a lot of photographer sharing the beauty of it. They looked like having 5 legs! Yup, all were ready with their tripod.
Then to give a zest to my soul, I stood there and started to capture the night view of Eiffel Tower and Seine River. I didn't use my tripod since I had to be quick to catch up my family.

After missing 3 weeks of PPF, now I'm back. The reason I chose this photo not only because I miss her badly (she just left Germany to Indonesia yesterday, my tears are still falling down) but also because she is really a fast learner.
Her name is Sarah. Food photography is something new for her. She acknowledged it when seing me taking picture of the cake I baked. She found it interesting, that's why she asked me to let her try herself. Then I told her brief explanation on using the camera (where to push the shutter, to hold the camera and to see through viewfinder).
She is 5 years old. She wants to be a dentist in the future and a great photographer as well. Check her photos in this album: Like Auntie Like Niece.

Senangnyaaaaaa :) Si Tukang Dongeng bilang... kare kambingnya enak banget :)
My Mom (Ibu) loves flowers very much. When I took her around my neighborhood, she kept her eyes on beautiful flowers in our neighbor garden. She asked me to captured their beauty.
So, this album is dedicated to Ibu, the most important person in my life. Love you Ibu.
Horeeeeeeee!!!
Ibu saya bilang: Kok banyak amat motretnya hihihihi belum tau aja :))
For my betterhalf, his luxury foods are cooked by me. This food below was his extravagance meal after a hard day at university.
That's why I picked this photos as my entry for this week PPF: Extravagance hosted by Cherie.

It's still at 8 O'clock in the morning when suddenly I felt like photographing the flowers in our backyard.
It was a bit windy and not too shiny, really nice weather. Then there I was, spending hours exploring our apartment backyard and experimenting with white balance setting in my camera.
All picture taken with my EOS 400D and my cheap but helpful 50mm f/1.8 lens. Shooting in manual program and handheld, ISO 100. No editing, only cropping and labeling.
I've been on and off in Multiply these couple of weeks. I've been busy with my study (since my advisor will return to his country for good and he gave me time only until the end of this month to finish my project) and busy with the housewarming party of my new appartment. And it's not over yet since next week my mom, sister and niece will come from Indonesia. They will stay with us for one month.
Oke enough with the blablabla thingy. Now let's talk about our beloved photo event, Picture Perfect Friday.
Our host of the week Heather, chose curves as the theme. It took me 30 minutes before I picked this picture. You can say that I'm not being creative, but what I can thing about curves is woman curve. At first I want to go tomorrow morning to do some candid in a crowd hoping to get the beautiful curve of a woman. But then I came accross to this picture. A siluet of woman curve taken in a hotel in Prague.
Then here I am, presenting you the curve of my best friend (don't worry, she gave me permission to publish it).

Have a nice weekend mates. I apologize if I can't visit yours directly since this week I'm so busy with my study and for housewarming party of my new appartement.
Awalnya udah mutusin gak jadi ikutan, bukan males bikin saus orange-nya (pudingnya udah saya bikin dua hari sebelumnya), tapi males motretnya :) Ya udah, setelah telpon-telponan sama sahabat tercinta, saya mutusin utk tidur (gak jadi bikin sausnya). Eh udah miring kanan miring kiri, gak bisa tidur juga... ya udah, daripada iseng jam 12 malem saya bikin deh saus orangenya.
Berhubung saus orange udah jadi, ya dibela-belain deh motretnya.. apalagi mataharinya lagi cakep, walaupun sinarnya terlalu terang.
Biar saya semangat nyari softwarenya :D
Picture Perfect Friday has a new rule! Read here for the details. It more fun and exciting since now we have a chance to be Best PP Photographer in The World..for the week!!
Heather is the host of the first edition of new PPF. She choosed Broken as the theme, sounds easy but hard (at least for me).

At first I set my white balance to auto (AWB), but then my friend (he is one of my tutor in photography) told me to change it into shade. He said if I used shade as the white balance, my sunset picture will turn orange, and it did!
Another new thing I got from the senior! Kudos!
All picture taken with my EOS 400D and the kitlens (EF-S 18-55mm). Shooting in manual program, ISO 100. No editing, only cropping on picture #7, #8 and #9.
Enjoy!
Pssttt... if you notice, one of them I used as my banner in my new multiply homepage.
Last Sunday, the Indonesian Student in Bremen had a BBQ party that took place at Werdersee (it is a river). Since it's summertime fun during springtime, so I'll cheat *LOL*
At the first photo you can see how some people enjoying the weather by sunbathing. I really wish that I had a good zoom lens ;)

Bukan apa-apa, saya motretnya sampai 100 set, banyak yah :))
Lagi asik-asiknya motret makanan, eh teman saya malah motret saya. Jadi gini deh saya kalo lagi motret makanan... seadanya saja. Lumayanlah... jadi punya foto diri waktu jadi fotografer amatiran :D
Another new vocabulary I got from Picture Perfect Friday. After knowing the meaning from dictionary.com, what I can think is only this picture. I hope it fits to the theme.
JohnOh the host of this week PPF has challenged us to interpret the word Gossamer into a picture, and here is my interpretation. I took this before just before landing at Prague Airport.
